It is vital that we can offer Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world innovative education programmes, leadership development and advocacy work, to help empower them to develop the skills and confidence they need through Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting to make positive change in their lives and in their communities. 

Supporting where the need is greatest provides grants for Member Organisations and Young Women to take part in virtual opportunities, such as the WAGGGS World Conference, where key issues which effect the futures of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts worldwide are decided. It provides young women like Carla Bou Aoun, from the Lebanese Girl Guides Association the opportunity to use her voice, “giving young leaders the opportunity to participate in international trainings and programmes is very motivational to young women because it makes them realise they are part of the bigger picture and that they are not alone in the challenges they face”

Making a donation to support where the need is greatest is crucial in ensuring that not only the Movement, but each of the 152 Member Organisations it supports, can thrive and offer the best possible girl experience.
